Gummy bears don't jaywalk. How do I know this? Because these were found in the crosswalk.
I want candy, but I don't want it lying on the street.
Right before Easter weekend, there was an incident involving gummy bears near my building. At least that’s what appears to have happened based on the volume of bears found on the street. It was a little sad, to be honest.
Please support your favorite candy and candy manufacturers by keeping your sweets firmly in hand at all times. For just pennies a day, you too can make a difference in the shelf life of a gummy bear. Or gummy worm. Whichever.

Slices of bread on the sidewalk
Saw these slices of bread next to a covered water main near Giles’ place. As I was taking a picture of it he came out to dump his garbage and said, “Oh, that’s been there since yesterday.” I’m surprised no rodents had carted it off yet. Templeton would have.

I saw these FedEx document packet thingys on the sidewalk near Giles’ place. I didn’t pick them up to count them, as that goes against my policy of not interfering with the items I find on the street, or “staging” a photo. I’m guessing there were at least ten of these little pockets.

I found this corsage on the sidewalk next to a church in my neighborhood. While it’s not particularly weird, it’s sad that the corsage was made of silk flowers. I find that very disappointing.

Wow, it’s been a long time since I posted any weird things. I don’t get out much anymore.
About a month or so ago, I saw #32 on the sidewalk near my apartment. I classify this item as weird for two reasons:
1. It was several months after Christmas that this card wound up on the sidewalk, leading me to wonder where it was all winter. In someone’s house? In the backseat of a car until a strong wind blew through an open door and pushed it onto the sidewalk? In the very bottom of a recycling bin?
2. The person who sent the card signed it for themselves and their pet. That’s a little odd. We won’t comment as to whether or not I have ever done the same thing. Because that’s completely irrelevant.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen anything sufficiently weird to post. Yesterday I finally did. Could this be the remnants of a tortilla chip battle?
